Other social actvities
As well as the monthly lunches and shopping trips, JoyCare organises other social activities during the year. For example:
- Half-day outings to places of interest such as Luton Hoo Walled Garden, a cruise along the Great River Ouse, Beth Chatto’s Garden and Brick Lane Music Hall.
- A summer day trip to attractions such as Windsor Castle, Highclere Castle and Burghley House.
- A film matinee in the village hall twice a year with a light lunch and cakes.
- Craft sessions such as a watercolour class, felting, embroidery and seasonal crafts.
